Getting to Know You.

Our practice is dedicated to creating beautiful, life-long smiles for you and your family. So, our first priority is to find out all we can about your oral health. That means conducting a thorough periodontal examination, observing all we can about your teeth, gums, jaw function, bite alignment, and smile line. This information helps us to establish a solid relationship with you, enables us to recommend preventive measures to keep your smile healthy, and allows us to identify and correct any existing problems right away.

Evaluating Early.

Even your very youngest family members benefit from visiting with us. Before your baby's teeth ever erupt, we can help prevent long-term problems caused by night-time bottles, medications, and thumb-sucking. By the age of five, it's wise to check emerging teeth, underlying bone structure, and any signs of calcium deficiency or gland abnormality. If there's a chipped tooth from a tumble, or a tooth lost too early, I'll be there to take care of it. Then, while we wait for permanent teeth, I'll be on the lookout potential aesthetic or bite concerns, spacing problems, and whatever's needed to spare future orthodontic work. Later, should braces be the best solution, I offer early interceptive approaches, timing the corrections to be optimally effective. Not to mention taking care of chipped teeth from tumbles, or gaps from teeth lost too early.

Finding Out What It Takes to Make You Smile.

The next step in our relationship with you is simple. It's just listening. Because a healthy smile doesn't mean as much if you don't like the way it looks. We want to know how you see yourself, what you do and don't like about your current smile, what you'd like to change if you could. You may not realize it, but we can brighten, straighten, fill in, and generally correct just about any esthetic problem that bothers you.

It takes expert knowledge and hands-on experience to create beautiful smiles. Like understanding the parameters of an 'attractive' smile. So, once we've evaluated you and determined your goals, we can put our expertise to work helping you get there.  And that goes for your whole family: together, we'll establish a time-line ' what needs to be taken care of right now and what can wait to be done in the future ' without overloading your budget or your schedule. We'll do all we can to work with you, helping you understand your options and make choices to fit your life.

We can offer you almost unlimited options for making changes to your smile. And current materials and techniques allow us to make those changes look entirely natural, while being esthetically perfect as well. Plus, my computer imaging system allows you to see the various end results before we begin. So, whether it's veneers, bonding, crowns, tooth-colored fillings, or whitening systems, you'll find that we can help you make beautiful changes.

And in all the work we do, we take a gentle, 'no rush' approach, even letting you see what I'm doing via our intra-oral camera. We do all we can to keep you comfortable and relaxed, providing refreshments before your appointment, and cushions, pillows, blankets, TV's and stereo headphones during your procedure.  And you won't have to worry about your kids, they can enjoy themselves watching a movie in our special play area.
